WAYNE JENDERNY
FOUNDER / CEO
Wayne Jenderny serves as a firefighter in Minneapolis, Minnesota. His firefighting career surpasses two decades— from Air Force to Minnesota Air National Guard, wildland fires to 3-alarm building fires, water rescue to mountain rescue.
Wayne Jenderny has proudly left his comforts of home to serve our country overseas on six deployments. He has received numerous military awards and distinctions, to include presidential recognition of his community volunteerism while serving active duty. And twice he has received the City of Minneapolis volunteerism award for his creating a reading program and mentorship with at-risk children.
He served on the advisory board for three national charities, with emphasis in procurement of corporate-level fundraising, for events in the Twin Cities to ensure direct impact of local needs. He has been a guest speaker at the Mayo Clinic EMS conference and other distinguished field-related lectures on occupational safety.
Most importantly, he enjoys spending quality time and growth with his wife and two young sons. His travels often combine his love of the mountains and trail-running throughout our national parks.
